January Events

 

January 1st - Sunday: New Years Day, open 8AM to 10PM. Start your new year with a “cup of community.”

 

January 7th - Saturday: Our Saturday afternoon concert series continues in 2006 featuring perennial favorites, “Click-Dark & Friends.” Great sounds, great music from the master of many styles, 3pm.

 

January 16th, Monday: Martin Luther King Day, open 8AM till 10PM. 

 

January 21st - Saturday: Our Saturday afternoon concert series continues in 2006 featuring ”Presidents Breakfast.” performs electro-jazz-funk-dub tunes Saturday afternoon, 3pm.

 

 

 

Artist of the Month

Lulu Ezekiel, born in Austria and raised in Vancouver, features watercolors and paintings this month at Farley’s. Lulu studied at Reed College and The College of Arts and Crafts (now CCA). In addition, Lula currently teaches at The San Francisco Art Institute and an art program designed for women in the San Francisco City Jail. View her watercolors and paintings all month long. 

 

 

 

 

Window Display of the Month

Christiane from Walzwerk Restaurant presents “Life and Culture”, an exhibition featuring life and culture in the former East Germany featuring products designed during the 40 years of Communism.

Thanks to all those who donated toys for the Fire Fighters Toy Program. With your help, we donated six barrels of toys for needy families in San Francisco.
