Christopher Irion’s Photo Booth Show
Once again Christopher Irion returned with his photo booth. Pictures from the 15th Annual Pet Fest held October 29th. People & pets decked out, looking good & looking silly. These photos are well worth seeing whether you were there or not!

Window Display of the Month

This month, Rebecca Petigrow has brought to us a display of gifts made by adults for children. The goal of the project was to create meaningful gifts for children, which counter the commercialization of childhood and most importantly enrich children’s lives & spirit. Included are a birthday alter, a sleep ritual, seasonal lunchbox, examples of adults expressing themselves to kids.

Gail’s Coffee & Tea Corner

3 Green Teas!

Because green teas are not fermented, they retain all of their natural tannins and contain only 1% caffeine by weight. Skipping the fermentation step that black teas undergo also means that green teas contain lots of vitamin C, chlorophyll and minerals that are good for you. Farley’s now offers three distinct green teas available by the cup pot or bulk.

  1. Sencha: clean, grassy flavor, the “greenest” of the teas

  2. Rice Flower/Gen Mai Cha: sencha leaves blended with roasted rice for a toasty warm flavor

  3. Jasmine: Chinese green tea infused with the flavor and aroma of night-blooming jasmine flowers. Yum!

Pastries

Farley’s has a pastry chef! To most of you, this is not surprising news – you’ve noticed the fresh, homemade (often warm from the oven) pastries and desserts that have recently graced our fine food department. Our own Alanna keeps surprising us with delicious scones, cakes, and…..who knows what’s next? Not to mention the infamous GRANOLA. All goods baked with love, passion & organic ingredients.

Hearty Congratulations!

Keara Fallon & Spencer Mulcahy, Potrero Hill residents & customers at Farley’s for over 10 years, were blissfully married on Saturday, October 8th in Sonoma. They just returned from their honeymoon in Kauai. You can recognize them by their tan and glow.
