Manager’s Corner

Whew! We made it. We added nonfat and the wi-fi. We spruced up the shop. All with no major difficulties. So far the wi-fi has been very well received and the non-fat, well, let’s just say, a few of you regulars out there were secret nonfat lovers.

As many of you already know, Farley’s offers one free refill of coffee with any beverage purchase. In this day and age it’s hard to find a perk like this and we are happy to offer it. So when you are done with your first cup, just come up and help yourself to a refill. And yes, you can take your refill to go for the long road ahead.

I am also happy to announce the next coffee of the week will be organic Guatemalan light roast. We will be offering it in addition to Jack’s from April 1st through the 7th.  This coffee has a lot of body without too much of the acidity characteristic of Latin American coffees. And it’s from the same roaster that produces the organic Mexican Dark Roast that you all loved so much last month. I think it’s going to be another hit.

Bean Ball

Bean Ball is back! Starting next month, buy a pound of any coffee to enter the drawing for two free SF Giants tickets. The first pair of tickets is for the Giants vs the Diamondbacks on Wednesday April 16th at 12:45 PM. Go Giants!

Fundraising

Cyrena Hillyard is walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day and asks for your support to raise funds for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment through Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. Would you please consider making a donation; anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. You can give online at her personal fundraising webpage to make a donation.

According to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, approximately 200,000 American women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and nearly 40,000 will die from the disease. Cyrena is committed to supporting this cause. She says, “that's why I'm walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me - by supporting me in my fundraising efforts. Thank you in advance for your generosity!”
