Robin MacQuarrie, Baseball fan and collector extraordinaire
A San Francisco native, Robin MacQuarrie, first began going to baseball games at Candlestick Park back in 1978. A few years down the road they began giving out plastic cups and being the collector he is, Robin decided to start collecting them. Since then, Robin has been to 37 different major league ball parks and has tried to obtain and keep the cups whenever possible. Hope you enjoy the trip into this part of baseball history.
Come get your Valentines & candy – it’s a tradition throughout February.

Greetings from the espresso bar… As some of you may have noticed our whole bean line-up has changed a bit in the past couple of weeks. We now have two excellent coffees hailing from Latin America: Organic Mexican dark roast and Organic Peruvian dark roast. Both of these coffees are roasted a little darker giving them a fuller flavor. Initially, when sampling the two coffees, Jen and I were surprised by the coffees’ extensive flavor and body, given the characteristic bright or somewhat tart quality of most Latin American beans. We both would have guessed that they were from Indonesia! So far everyone seems to like them, staff and customers alike. And did I mention they are Organic?
In other news, we have a new menu! Don’t worry, it’s still simple. In fact, it looks a lot like the old one, but now we have all those new teas on it that we get from locally owned Samovar Tea. We actually introduced them a couple of months ago and chances are, you have had a cup or two. Also, you will notice the Organic and Fair -Trade logo on the menu. We hope you enjoy these new little changes.
In staff news, Hannah is back in town from up north where the redwoods grow really really big. She will be working the occasional shift and we are stoked to have her with us again.
