Artist of the Month

Pierre Bee: Photos from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo & Kyoto. Pierre was raised in Normandy. Early on, he found both beauty and purity in simple things. His photos seek to transmit sense and feeling. In this world where ignorance creates too many barriers between countries and cultures, it’s important for us to discover new perspectives by seeing the beauty & purity of our “simple” world.

“Les Voyages Forment la Jeunesse”

Reception: Friday, July 22, 7-9PM.

Window Display of the Month

Once again, our friend & extraordinary collector Sara is back. This month, Sara is showing a fine selection of vintage cameras & photos from a “simpler” time.

News

Gail’s Bean Corner

July’s bean of the month grows on the tree-shaded mountains near San Jose, Costa Rica, where a coop of local farmers have banded together to ship their coffee to the SF Bay Area. Costa Rican coffee is full-bodied and rich: a perfect cup for those who like hearty flavor in a medium roast.

Costa Rican coffee July special: $6.00 per pound (regularly $7.00) and $3.50 per half-pound (regularly $4.50).

Bean Ball

Play “bean ball”, buy one pound of any coffee beans at Farley’s and you are eligible to enter the drawing for two free SF Giants tickets. This month’s game features your SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS vs. the fish of Florida on Friday, July 22nd at 7:15PM.  We will contact you if you are the lucky winner, and we can only hope you will see a victory.

Knitting Group

As always, the Farley’s coed knitting group is meeting Fridays at 7PM. The group stitches to the sounds of smooth jazz one Friday night and welcomes the artist reception on another.
