Sunday, October 1st - Sunday afternoon concert series featuring “Darket” performing jazz tunes, 3pm .

Thursday, of October 12th – Artist of the Month Reception (Michelle McCarron), 7-9pm

Sunday, October 15th - Sunday afternoon concert series continues featuring “Presidents Breakfast,” performing electro-jazz-funk-dub, 3pm .

Sunday, October 22nd - Voice Studio Showcase, recent students showcasing their new talents, 2-5:00 pm.

Saturday, October 28th – Farley's 16th Annual Pet Fest, with live music by The Specs. Parade begins at 1pm on 18th St at Arkansas . No entry forms or rules necessary!

Saturday, October 28th - Photographer Christopher Irion will be onsite 11AM -3PM at the Pet Fest with his famous photo booth to take pictures of pets and kids in costume for the November art show at Farley's (photos will be given away at the end of November).

Monday, October 30th (10pm deadline) - Pumpkin Carving Contest - call for entries for the Farley 's Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest. Carve, paint, decorate your pumpkins at home & bring them to Farley's before 10pm , Monday Oct 30. In the dark of night, prizes will be awarded. Contest open to all ages, no rules, and no entry forms.

Tuesday, October 31st (Halloween) - Potrero Hill Parents Association sponsors an evening of "trick or treat" for kids, 6pm .

Photographer Michelle McCarron, displays her latest photos. Michelle's work, "tells the stories about the life, earth and people I feel passionate about. Through my work, I aim to deepen my own and my viewers appreciation and experience of the world. I am driven by the desire to explore the beauty and destruction that mankind and nature have created. My work is about making people aware, waking them up to life around them."

Window Display of the Month

"Little People" by Michael, Tiffany and August Montesano

A first-timer's eBay misadventure is front and center as Dogpatch residents Tiffany, Michael, and August Montesano put their recently acquired anunintentionally large collection of 'Little People' on display. October's window display will be a trip down memory lane for those of you who spent time as children playing with these popular wooden and plastic figures, vehicles, and buildings.

In-between their day jobs and over-buying toys from their own childhood for their son August, Michael and Tiffany are weekend artists. Michael is an avid photographer who's work has appeared in print, online, and at Farley 's! Tiffany has a keen eye for the reuse of the found, funky, and unusual. They are both very excited to be providing October's window display.
